Job Overview:
The Video Content Creator will be responsible for conceptualizing, creating, and producing impactful video content that effectively communicates the mission and programs of Global Ehsan Relief. This role requires creativity and technical skills to develop videos from start to finish, including idea generation, scriptwriting, filming, and editing. The content created will be used for promotional campaigns, social media, and event documentation. Collaboration with the fundraising, marketing, and program teams is essential to ensure the videos align with GERID’s messaging, objectives, and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, create, and produce engaging video content that effectively showcases our organization, services, and humanitarian efforts.
- Develop short-form videos (1-3 minutes) for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) and long-form videos for program reports.
- Create and edit video content tailored to promotional campaigns, events, and fundraising initiatives.
- Manage the full production process, including pre-production tasks like scripting, storyboarding, and scheduling shoots.
- Collaborate with fundraising and marketing teams to develop cross-platform content strategies.
- Analyze video performance based on key metrics such as views, engagement rate, and conversion to improve content strategy.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, platform algorithm updates, and best practices to maximize engagement and reach.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the line manager.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Under 30 years old and a non-smoker.
- Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication Design (DKV), Communication, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in video content creation, with a portfolio that demonstrates proficiency in videography, editing, and storytelling.
- Proficiency in videography, photography, and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Cacut).
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Passionate about working in humanitarian and social programs, with a strong commitment to the organization’s mission and values.
- Willing to undertake domestic or international travel to document and create content in the field, including areas with limited facilities.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
